The interior concept for Core by Clare Smyth was developed by Alessandro Lo Giudice during his tenure as Design Director at Wilson Associates.

​

Working closely with Chef Clare Smyth during the early concept design phase up until schematic and construction, Alessandro translated her personal vision into a spatial narrative rooted in clarity, restraint, and authenticity. The design approach sought to remain true to the core of her heritage—drawing from her Irish roots and the understated honesty of her cuisine—expressed through simplicity of form, material calmness, and an atmosphere of quiet confidence.

The resulting space supports the restaurant’s philosophy of precision without excess, allowing the food, craft, and guest experience to remain at the forefront.
