“Reimagining a Childhood Apartment for Contemporary Family Living”

Orchard Court was once the wife’s childhood apartment — a home filled with family memories and personal history. Years later, the couple made the meaningful decision to buy back the residence and transform it into a contemporary home for their family of four.

Inspired by the restrained elegance of modern Milanese interiors, the design embraces strong architectural lines, symmetry and sophisticated spatial filtering. Dark walnut wood tones, soft neutral finishes and a minimal yet warm composition create a calm and refined living environment.

Several Italian furniture pieces from the family’s previous condominium were carefully retained and integrated into the new home. While the common spaces maintain a cohesive contemporary identity, the bedrooms of the couple’s two grown-up daughters were individually designed to reflect their distinct personalities and personal styles.
